    ​​Receives financial reports from the Treasurer, and with a PTSA Board member, reviews the financials documents and make sure documents are updated

    Conducts a monthly review of this local PTA’s bank statements/supporting documents and shall sign an acknowledgment on the bank statements that the expenditures were consistent with the approved budget

    Attendance at our monthly meetings is encouraged, but not required

    Help to maintain and enhance the outdoor school campus through organized clean up and beautification volunteer days, individual landscape projects, and maintenance enhancement efforts

    Prior to the last general membership meeting, this committee will prepare a slate of nominees for officers.

    Work with administration and staff assigned to this event for educating and welcoming prospective parents. The position involves communicating with feeder schools and neighborhood communications platforms to advertise the Open House. The Open House occurs in the fall. This is a short term position and may require some time at school​​

    In charge of all Senior events: senior breakfast, senior sunrise, senior sunset, senior field day.

    Work with Student Services to update showcases in the mall of our upcoming graduates’ school choices.

    SMILE (South Meck Interactions Listening & Engagement) is an initiative where volunteers meet to support students, outside the student center, in the form of hugs, motivational stickers, dogs to pet, listening ears, etc. The South Meck PTSA holds these monthly SMILE events in the courtyard during lunches. They offer snacks, bars, bottled water, & words of affirmation and puppy snuggles. This effort is a small way for us to show the students at South Meck that we care, they matter, and we see them.
